Feed Mill Sales Representative

Job Summary:

The feed mill sales representative will be responsible for promoting and selling our high-quality animal feed products to farmers, livestock producers, and other clients. You will leverage your expertise in animal nutrition and customer relationship management to drive sales growth and enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Promotion: Actively promote and sell a range of animal feed products to new and existing customers.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and support.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our product line, including nutritional benefits and applications for various livestock.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new sales opportunities and inform product development.
  • Consultation: Provide expert advice to customers on feed formulations, usage, and best practices to optimize animal health and productivity.
  • Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective planning and execution of sales strategies.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory levels in CRM systems.
  • Training and Support: Educate customers and staff on product benefits and feeding strategies through presentations and training sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Agricultural engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven sales experience, preferably in the agriculture or feed industry.
  • Strong understanding of animal nutrition and farming practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in using SAP software and Microsoft Office Suite.
